What a delightful find! I stopped by on a whim and was blown away by the flavor-packed dishes. The mac and cheese was rich and creamy, just the way I like it. I had an amazing dining experience here! The sides were just as impressive; the baked beans were sweet and hearty, while the coleslaw added a refreshing crunch. The service was impeccable; my server was attentive without being intrusive, which made the experience even better. Great soul food restaurant! I loved the fried catfish and the sweet tea was spot on. The service was friendly; my server checked on us often. I do wish the menu had more options, but what I had was awesome. Definitely a place I'd return to!

I recently had dinner at this soul food gem and it was an experience to remember! Walking in, the warm ambiance wrapped around me like a comforting hug, and the sweet smell of spices dancing in the air made my mouth water immediately. I ordered the fried chicken, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, definitely some of the best I've had! The collard greens were seasoned beautifully, a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness. My only slight critique would be that the cornbread, while tasty, could use a hint more sweetness for my personal liking. Overall, the service was friendly and attentive, making the evening even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to go back and try the catfish next time, as I’ve heard great things about it too. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic Southern flavors in a cozy setting!

This is the go-to spot for soul food in town! I tried the shrimp and grits, and they were divine! The shrimp were cooked to perfection, and the grits were buttery and smooth. The portions are generous, so I left feeling incredibly satisfied. I also loved the homemade lemonade; it’s refreshing and the right amount of tart. The only thing I would suggest is offering more vegetarian options on the menu. Other than that, I can’t fault this place! It’s great for a comforting meal any day of the week!
